Hayley's is an Austin must. The cookies are perfect blend of sweetness and cuteness. It's always so hard to pick the perfect cookie since they are all so cute! The staff is always friendly and more than willing to offer suggestions.
How much do I love Hayley Cakes? I bought her cookbook. I get her cookies (instead of cake) every year for my birthday. I LOVE Hayley Cakes. When you walk in here, be ready to be dazzled by the huge selection of scrumptious cookies, cupcakes, brownies, blondies, I could go on, but you get it, right? (My mouth is watering thinking about this place) If I want to cheer someone up, or just make them smile, and I don't feel like baking, this is my go to spot. If you haven't been to one of her locations (did I mention Hayley is a local gall, raised in Austin - show the support, y'al!), stop in and give it a try. You won't be disappointed!
BEST cupcakes of ALL time! Most cupcake spots have 2-3 good flavors. All the flavors were delicious and different. We loved the churro, cookie dough, red velvet, chocolate, bday/confetti, lemon and razzle dazzle. We froze 2 of them and once you defrost them they still take moist and delicious. Very friendly staff. We went in around 2pm on a Friday and there was an excellent selection. Cannot wait to get more cupcakes.
Best customer service! Hayley Cakes came through for me in a time where most other cake shops were closed all week after Christmas Day! My birthday cake came out delicious and beautiful, truly thank you for helping my day be a little more special! Helpful staff and really great decorating options and of course the delicious richness of their ingredients! Oh my!
Even when coming here right before they close, they always have a few yummy treats left! Hayley's is a life saver - always my go-to for birthday treats and cute food gifts. Whether it's a custom order or just a drop-in for a treat, they've got you. The ladies working are always so nice to me and very helpful when I'm between options (often more than 1). It's a cute little shop off Lamar & I love coming in for the selections.
Yum! This place was so athletically pleasing, and so were their baked goods! Not only were they cute, they tasted delicious. The gluten free strawberry cupcake was very moist (not dry whatsoever, which is quite a feat!). The best part was the icing. It was so packed with flavor - I couldn't believe how good it was. My friends liked their cookies and gluten filled cupcakes. They also enjoyed shopping there! Tons of cute stuff. All and all a great place that I would recommend visiting. The staff were super nice, which made my cupcake even sweeter!
If you haven't had a cookie from this place then where do you get your cookies because I want to know. They can be better than Hayley's! I don't eat a lot of sweets BUT these cookies are out of this world. I am a teacher and we decorated cookies as part of our winter party this year. Lo and behold but didn't the parent in charge of cookies get Hayley's cookies!!! The kids didn't care where the cookies were from because all they saw was the jars of frosting and sprinkles!! LOL. There were some kids absent from school that day so lucky me there were extra cookies. I didn't even add frosting. I just ate it plain and it was so yummy! After the cookie crumbs were cleared and the last of the kids gave me goodbye hugs and their parents gave me well wishes for a good break...I spied it on the counter. I spied a white box. I opened the box and inside were the extra cookies. Happy Merry Everything to me!! I brought home the cookies and put them in the freezer for a rainy day or just any day and I'm feeling my sweet tooth!
